Enjoy this one night only specially curated 7-course Truly Singaporean makan presented by SM Pang served with handcrafted Brewerkz beer selected by assistant head brewer, Brian Picco, to accentuate the flavours of each plate, with a raspberry sour beer sorbet as a palate cleanser in between courses.

Truly Singaporean Wine & Makan Series - CHIJMES

This August, New Ubin’s ‘Truly Singaporean’ Wine & Makan series feature two regions in the USA – Napa Valley and Sonoma Valley. They are arguably California’s best known wine producing areas, famed for their creamy and zesty Chardonnay and impressive Cabernet Sauvignon–Bordeaux blends.

Look forward to two wine pairing sessions featuring a fascinating array of California’s finest paired with ‘Truly Singaporean’ makan that kicks the feast off with a Kiam Chye Duck shooter, and tugs diners from cuisine to cuisine henceforth – think fragrant Udang Masak Nanas Fresh Sea Prawns to the crackling of New Ubin’s Crispy Pork Knuckles and to New Ubin Nasi Lemak, a recipe and teaser of an upcoming project SM Pang himself has been tirelessly perfecting.
