TASTING NOTES
Aromas of fresh berry with hints of ripe white peach and toasted hazelnuts. The palate is fresh and vibrant with beautiful delicate forest berry characters that linger to an elegant finish.
VINEYARD
Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier sourced from a selection of our premium vineyards across Marlborough's Wairau and Awatere valleys.
WINEMAKING NOTES
The grapes are harvested early in the season while the natural acidity is high. Each variety is harvested and fermented separately, and undergoes full malolactic fermentation to mellow the acidity, soften the palate and provide flavour complexity. The base wines mature on the yeast from primary ferment for six months before blending. Then there is the second ferment in the bottle followed by a year on the yeast lees before disgorging. This time on lees is crucial to allow the yeast cells to break down and release their goodness back into the wine.
Variety: Chardonnay 52%, Pinot Noir 43%, Pinot Meunier 5%
Alcohol: 12.5%

TASTING NOTES
Full and juicy on the palate with ripe, concentrated flavours, tangy freshness and a long finish showing typical minerality. A vibrant wine showing purity, class and sub-regional character.
VINEYARD
Crafted from select blocks across five unique sites following the Awatere River, rising from very close to the sea up the valley to an altitude of over 400m. Maritime-influenced vineyards at the base of the valley in well-draining alluvial silts and gravels transition further up the valley to vineyards sheltered from winds in natural sun traps with soils of fractured rock and clay seams. These unique and diverse vineyard soils and locations create a vivid spectrum of flavours and textures. Lower cropping vines in the Awatere Valley ripen slowly in the cool maritime climate producing wines with concentration, purity, tension and complexity.
WINEMAKING NOTES
An excellent growing season meant grapes were harvested from selected blocks when they showed optimal flavour ripeness. Rapid processing with cool temperatures and minimal oxygen contact has kept the wine fresh and vibrant. Juices were fermented cool and slow with selected yeast strains, then left to mature on the yeast lees for three months before being prepared for bottling.

Melon, peach, pear floral and cardamon aromas. Generous palate with soft texture, attractive melon, pear and spice flavours, and gentle acidity on the finish.
VINEYARD
Silt loam over alluvial gravels. Pinot Gris grapes sourced from Fairhall, Waihopai, Middle Renwick Road and Hawkesbury, Marlborough.
WINEMAKING NOTES
Blocks were machine harvested and gently pressed. The free run and press juice were separated, and the pressings allowed to oxidise out the phenolics to give a finer palate. The juices were fermented cool in stainless steel tanks with selected yeasts to ensure a clean aromatic profile from this delicate variety. At completion of ferment, the wines are allowed to mature on the fine yeast lees to help build the texture of the wine

Medium density bright garnet red
TASTING NOTES
The palate is soft and silky, with fine dry tannins, complex varietal characters and a persistent finish with sweet fruit.
WINEMAKING NOTES
The grapes were picked in excellent condition and fully mature. Individual parts of the vineyard were vinified separately and all lots were fermented in small fermenters with regular hand plunging of the cap for gentle extraction. The wines were allowed some extended maceration post-ferment before being pressed off and racked to oak barriques. The batches matured in oak for 11 months before being racked out and blended ready for bottling
