SG CARES GIVING WEEK: #EatMoveCreateSAMH
SG Cares Giving Week is an annual national movement happening in Singapore from 1 to 7 December that celebrates the spirit of giving and seeks to promote it as part of the Singaporeans' way of life. During this period, individuals, businesses and communities come together to support the causes they care about in order to build a City of Good.
Jointly organised by the National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre (NVPC), the National Council of Social Service (NCSS), and the SG Cares Office, SG Cares Giving Week aims to inspire individuals, businesses, non-profit organisations and the community to give their best for others by sharing their Time, Talent, Treasure and Voice in support of any cause they are passionate about in all ways, big and small.
These are the little acts, when multiplied by millions, that make a world of difference.
This year, as part of SG Cares Giving Week, New Ubin Seafood will be partnering with Singapore Association for Mental Health (SAMH), a non-profit and non-government social service agency that provides a comprehensive range of mental health services. SAMH is dedicated to improve the lives of persons with mental health issues through rehabilitation and reintegration. Their beneficiaries include youths, students and adults. With your contribution, we will be supporting SAMH to help individuals at every step of their recovery journey, while also providing emotional and practical support to their families and caregivers.
If you would like to help, here’s how we can support SAMH together:
Join us on the #EatMoveCreateSAMH campaign by participating in the Thanksgiving Charity Lunch on 4th December 2021 at CHIJMES. Even amidst the difficult times during this pandemic, New Ubin Seafood will not profit from this movement and will donate all profits from the Lunch event to SAMH.
In addition, you may show more love and increase your support through the #jiak2give campaign via crowdfunding portal to donate directly to SAMH. A QR code will be provided during the Lunch to access the portal and Tax relief will be given for donations of $50 and above.
