Founded 30 years ago, New Ubin Seafood began as a small family owned seafood restaurant on the north shore of Pulau Ubin. It was out of the way but the many diners who made the trek to the restaurant were treated to fresh seafood prepared with traditional recipes with a Singapore twist. Some of these recipes and dishes would go on to become part of Singapore’s zi char tradition.

Today, 30 years later, our locations may have changed, but we have stuck to our Singapore roots. Our patrons sometimes still make the journey to unexpected places and there, they are rewarded with the freshest seafood, prepared with delicious traditional flavors, sometimes with an innovative, always delicious twist. Over the years , we have also become known for unique dishes that have changed perceptions of what zi char cuisine can be.
